Shed Fire - Horsley Park

Redmayne Rd Horsley Park

On Saturday 9 August 2008, Horsley Park and Eastern Creek Brigades were called to a shed alight at Redmayne Rd, Horsley Park. Whilst members were on their way to station a large column of smoke was noticeable issuing from the area. Further units were despatched for CABA Operators from Orchard Hills and Regentville. Horsley Park 1 Bravo and Eastern Creek 1 arrived onsite at the same time to find a Shed of metal construction fully involved in fire with NSWFB Pumper 041 – Smithfield crew commencing attack on the fire. RFS and NSWFB crews worked together to contain the fire to the shed and prevent any spread to the adjoining exposures, crews then undertook salvage and overhaul to ensure that no further fire was within the structure.
